This is the last week of our summer fall season and we looking forward to things slowing down a little this winter. We worked extra this weekend to get crops in before the after effects of hurricane Sandy hit us. There is still more in the field for our winter program, but hopefully the rain won't adversely affect what is left.
Bruce is helping Kirsten put Celery Root into boxes. The warm weather this weekend was really enjoyable.
Our winter box season starts in two weeks with our first winter box deliveries on November 14 and 15. Be sure to sign up if you are interested in continuing to get veggies this winter. We will also have eggs, beef, chicken, and a variety of jams and jellies in addition to the vegetables and salad greens.
